Kingston man charged with grand larceny

KINGSTON – A Kingston man was arrested by city police on charges that he was stealing items belonging to others while at work. The thefts occurred over a period from the end of October to the end of November 2014.
Carmelo Lugo, 56, was charged with felony grand larceny and five counts of misdemeanor petit larceny.  He was released on an appearance ticket returnable to Kingston City Court.
The case Lugo came to light when a local business reported they suspected one of their employees of the thefts.
