Granna – family time

TIVOLI – Village of Tivoli Mayor Bryan Cranna announced on New Year’s Eve that after twelve years in Village Government, he will be end his tenure as a  Tivoli Official in March of 2015.
“After much thought and consideration I have decided not to seek a third term as Mayor of Tivoli,” said Cranna.  “I have been a member of this Village Government since 2002 and have seen this Village from several angles; as a Volunteer, Department Head, Trustee, Deputy Mayor, and as its Mayor.”
Cranna cited family considerations
“As the father of two young sons who are actively involved in many community activities, I want to be able to spend as much time with them as I can.  My family has had to sacrifice precious time in order to allow me to attend to my official duties.   It is my intention to catch up on that time and devote more attention to my sons as they grow.”
The retiring mayor said he has been honored “… to work with many dedicated and community minded officials during my tenure in office.  I have seen firsthand the commitment and respect for community that many Tivoli residents have, whether in an elected and or appointed position, or a volunteer.  It has been one of the greatest honors of my life to serve this community as Mayor, and I look forward to continuing to be an active member of the community and to play part in moving Tivoli forward.”
