POUGHKEEPSIE – Lauren Evans has been named Rhinebeck Bank’s new assistant vice president, branch manager at its 3432 North Road, Poughkeepsie branch.
Evans brings 17 years of local retail banking, branch management and lending experience to her new role at Rhinebeck Bank. She is enrolled at SUNY Empire and is pursuing a bachelor of arts degree in business administration/project management.
“Lauren’s breadth of banking and lending experience, coupled with her excellent management skills, make her a great fit to lead our Mid-Hudson Center branch team,” said Tonya McCaughey, Vice President, Area Retail Leader at Rhinebeck Bank.
“I see myself as a guide, empowering customers of all backgrounds to navigate their financial journeys,” said Evans. “I share Rhinebeck Bank’s goal of ensuring customers feel valued, understood and supported in achieving their financial goals.”
Her community volunteer activities included service on the board of directors of the Hudson Valley Chamber of Commerce and the City of Peekskill’s Board of Ethics.
A Wappingers Falls resident, Evans enjoys thrifting during her free time and transforming “hidden gems” she finds from what others perceive as trash into something beautiful.
