Angelo Morizzo
February 18, 1938 – June 4, 2024
Angelo Morizzo of Summitville, NY, a cherished husband, father and friend, passed away on Tuesday, June 4 at Achieve Nursing and rehab center in Liberty, NY. He was 86.
He was the son of the late Nicholas and Angelina (Latrecchia) Morizzo, born February 18, 1938, in Paterson, NJ.
Angelo honorably served in the United States Navy for 4 years from 1964-1968 before being honorably discharged.
He married his wife Vicki Susan Williams, and they settled in their home in Hawthorne, NJ for the next 50 years. They spent many blissful happy years at Wolf and Yankee Lake.
He is survived by his wife: at home Vicki (Sue) Morizzo; his two Sons: Scott (Maria) Morizzo, of Summitville, NY, Jefferey (Tara) Morizzo of Hawthorne NJ; Two brothers: Nicolas Morizzo of New Port Richey FL.; Louis Morizzo of Jupiter, FL; He is also survived by: Four Grandchildren, Three Great-Grandchildren and many nieces, nephews, and friends.
Memorial Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 13 from 11:00am to 12:00pm at the VanInwegen-Kenny Funeral Home, 111 Sullivan Street in Wurtsboro. A funeral service will be held at 12:15pm at the funeral home. Burial of cremains will follow at the Poplar Grove Cemetery.
