OTISVILLE – Michael Cohen, President Trump’s former personal lawyer and fixer, was released from Otisville Correctional Institute, the federal prison where he was housed.
He had been serving a sentence at the minimum-security camps next to the prison in Otisville where he was expected to be released in November 2021, but he asked to be released early over health concerns about COVID-19.
The 53-year-old Cohen expressed concern about his health risk due to the deadly virus had he been incarcerated any longer.
Upon his release, he returned to his Manhattan home.
