SPRING VALLEY – The Village of Spring Valley is applying for an $11,000 Justice Department grant in the 2019 Edward Byrne Memorial Justice Assistance Grant Program.
If awarded, the village will use the funding to further develop its Youth and Police Initiative program as well as its Safe Streets Program.
The village is seeking public input on the application, which can be done at any regular village board meeting.
The deadline for submission of the application is August 23.
