Huguenot man arrested for drug sales

DEERPARK- Police have arrested a 31-year-old Huguenot man for the sale of narcotics throughout the Town of Deerpark and City of Port Jervis.

The arrest of Dylan Kratzert took place on Tuesday, July 2 following a two-month investigation by Deerpark and Port Jervis Police and the Orange County Drug Task Force.

Police executed a search warrant on his vehicle that resulted in the recovery of 6.4 grams of cocaine and cash.

 Kratzert was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance with the intent to sell criminal possession of a controlled substance, both as felonies.

Kratzert was also wanted on a Town of Deerpark warrant for unrelated vehicle and traffic law offenses. 

He was arraigned in the Town of Deerpark Court and he was remanded to the Orange County Jail pending a future court date. The charges will be prosecuted by the Orange County District Attorney’s Office.
