Woman killed in microburst storm was New Jersey resident

COLCHESTER – Police have identified the woman killed when a large tree fell on her camper killing her when the microburst ripped through Colchester on Sunday, June 30.

Colchester Police said Carol Luistro of Edison was inside the camper when a large tree fell, striking the camper and pinning her under it.

She was pronounced dead at the scene.

Other campers sustained minor injuries when the storm hit the Russell Brook Campground around 10:50 a.m.

The storm toppled dozens of trees as its high winds and heavy rains tore through the southern Delaware County town.
