Wallkill launches Clean Streets program

TOWN OF WALLKILL – Officials in the Town of Wallkill have announced a Clean Streets program aimed at improving the cleanliness and maintenance of town roads.

They said the goal of the program is to bring awareness to the issue of litter and provide residents with a better quality of life.

Anyone with a need to clean their street from litter is urged to call the supervisor’s office at 845-692-7832.

As part of the new program, the town will track its progress keeping details of the amount of litter collected and the areas cleaned and will seek feedback from participants and the community to identify areas for improvement and make necessary adjustments.
