KINGSTON – A former bar at 46 Grand Street in Kingston is up for sale by the city which would like it redeveloped for use that created community benefit and complements the surrounding uses, including commercial, residential, non-profit, and mixed-use concepts.
In August 2022, the common council donated the property to the Beyond the 4 Walls Outreach Program, which under the agreement had one year to complete the rehabilitation of the property.
That did not happen, and the program voluntarily gave the property back to the city.
So now, the city has issued a request for expressions of interest on the Midtown building.
Those proposals are due back to the city by August 1.
