LOCH SHELDRAKE – A Loch Sheldrake woman has been charged with menacing after she allegedly intimidated neighbors with her pit bull mix breed dog.

Fallsburg Police were called to a residence in Loch Sheldrake on June 9 for a report of a neighbor dispute and it was alleged that Evelyn Monterrey walked the dog toward her neighbors in a threatening manner during the argument as the dog was barking and acting aggressively toward them.

It was also alleged that Monterrey’s dog had jumped on a woman at that location with the victim having to strike the animal to escape.

Monterrey was released on appearance ticket pending a future court appearance.
