NEW WINDSOR – A 35-year-old man died following a motorcycle accident on Bethlehem Road in New Windsor shortly after 3 p.m. on Friday, June 21.
New Windsor Police said a preliminary investigation determined the operator was traveling southbound on Bethlehem Road when he lost control of the motorcycle, resulting in the crash.
New Windsor EMS transported the man to a landing zone where he was airlifted to Westchester Medical Center in Valhalla. He ultimately died from his injuries, police said.
The cause of the accident remains under investigation. New Windsor Police detectives ask anyone who may have witnessed the accident to call them at 845-565-7000.
