SUMMITVILLE – “What is exposure… does anybody want to take a shot at that or explain to me? What exposure?”
Frank Coviello, a Wurtsboro photographer, talked about how to set a camera’s exposure to a handful of aspiring photographers during the first photography workshop at the D&H Canal Interpretive Center on Friday. It was presented by the Sullivan County Parks and Recreation Department. The Photography 101 Workshop covered digital point-and-shoot, film, and cell phone cameras. The site manager for the Delaware and Hudson Canal Interpretive Center, Sean Patrick Moore, explained how the idea for the program came about.
“I was attending a lecture in Wurtsboro on the eclipse,” said Moore. “After the presentation, one of the members of the audience asked the presenter some questions about photography. I’m watching this and I thought we need to do more presentations at the Interpretive Center and photography seems like a pretty good choice.”
The workshop was free to the public and any future workshops will be announced.
