TOWN OF POUGHKEEPSIE – A multi-vehicle accident has shut down Route 9 northbound between Spring Road and S. Gate Drive in the Town of Poughkeepsie.
The accident occurred at the entrance to the Holiday Inn hotel and one of the vehicles is overturned.
Town police are on the scene at 8:00 p.m. and the fire department and EMS have been dispatched.
Motorists traveling north of the Poughkeepsie Galleria are advised to seek an alternate route.
