NEW WINDSOR – Town police and New York State Troopers responded to a reported stabbing at the Silver Stream Village on Bivona Lane in New Windsor on Friday afternoon.
A victim was transported to Montefiore St. Luke’s-Cornwall Hospital by New Windsor EMS. The victim’s condition was not released.
Investigators from the Orange County District Attorney’s Office also responded to the crime scene.
New Windsor Police Chief Dan Valeri told Mid Hudson News “There is no known danger to the community,” and noted that the incident is still under investigation and interviews with the involved parties are being conducted.
