30-year-old man recovering after being stabbed in Newburgh

NEWBURGH – A 30-year-old man is recovering after being stabbed in the City of Newburgh over the weekend.

City of Newburgh Police responded to 32 South Miller Street at about 11:30 a.m. on Saturday and found the stabbing victim bleeding heavily from a wound to his upper back. He was transported to Montefiore St. Luke’s Hospital for treatment.

The suspect remains at large. The incident remains under investigation and anyone with information is urged to call the City of Newburgh PD at 845-569-7509. All calls will remain confidential.
