Thruway backup in Rosendale following tractor-trailer accident

ROSENDALE- One lane of the Northbound Thruway in Rosendale was closed for several hours on Friday after a Swift tractor-trailer struck a maintenance vehicle and ran off of the roadway.

The accident caused a six mile backup that resulted in motorists facing a minimum of a two hour delay as crews worked to clear the scene.

It is unknown if there were any injuries.
