MAHOPAC- Residents in the Mahopac School District went to the polls Thursday and overwhelmingly approved the Mahopac Library’s 2024-25 budget by a 280-68 margin.
Library Director Michelle Capozzella thanked residents of greater Mahopac for their support: “Our community is at the heart of everything we do at the library. We look forward to an exciting year ahead, and hope to see many of you at our events and programs this summer.”
Voters also elected three candidates to the library’s Board of Trustees including incumbent John Battista (270 votes), Wayne Heady (234 votes) and Marie Stahl (258 votes). The trustees will serve three-year terms beginning July 1.
