Cancer survivors participated in last year’s Patterson Relay for Life

BREWSTER- The Brewster and Patterson Relays for Life have merged forming the Eastern Putnam Relay that will take place today at Brewster High School.

Along with last weekend’s Relay for Life in Mahopac, survivors, caregivers, volunteers, and participants raise awareness and fundraise to support the American Cancer Society’s mission to find a cure for the disease that has affected every resident in Putnam County.

The Eastern Putnam Relay will take place from 3-10 pm along the Brewster High School track. Cancer survivor, 90 year old Al Lotrecchiano of Carmel, is serving as this year’s honoree.

Relay for Life Manager Kate Corsitto has encouraged survivors, caregivers, teachers, students, local businesses, local officials, families, churches, and other faith organizations to get involved.  Information is available at relayforlife.org/EasternPutnamNY or by contacting Corsitto at Kate.Corsitto@cancer.org or by phone at 203-956-3035.
