WOODRIDGE- At around 9 a.m. on Thursday an elderly woman lost control of her vehicle and crashed into a bench where two people were seated. The pair fled the car’s path avoiding serious injury.
The car continued through a window of the Woodridge Supermarket where it became lodged in the wall.
“I couldn’t sleep I had headaches I was so scared,” remarked the supermarket’s owner Sunita Patel.
The store remains closed pending an engineer’s report.
