CRAWFORD – A 53-year-old man has been arrested in connection with a shooting on Thursday morning in the Town of Crawford that left the victim critically injured.
Anthony Parrish has been charged with first-degree assault and criminal possession of a weapon. The Town of Crawford Police Department responded to the area of Route 17K and Teplitz Court at 8 a.m. on Thursday for a report of a 37-year-old man with multiple gunshot wounds.
The victim was rushed to Garnet Medical Center, where he remains in critical condition. Parrish was later apprehended in the City of Middletown. He was then arraigned and remanded without bail to Orange County Jail.
