VAILS GATE – A two-alarm fire in a mobile home on Currycross Road off Mount Airy Road in Vails Gate on Thursday caused extensive damage to the residence.
The cause of the fire is under investigation and there were no reports of injuries.
Several departments responded to scene including Vails Gate, West Point, Washingtonville, Newburgh and Coldenham.
New Windsor EMS and New Windsor Police were also at the scene while Central Hudson city the power to the residence.
New Windsor fire inspector and police fire investigators were on location attempting to determine the cause of the fire.
