MIDDLETOWN- At the Troop F barracks in Middletown the State Police held their annual Memorial Day Service on Friday.  The service was led by  Troop F Commander Major Michael Sumnick.

The event is held annually to pay respect, remember, celebrate, and recognize those members of the State Police from Troop F who made the ultimate sacrifice.

Troopers stood in salute during the ceremony and laid a wreath in memory of those who lost their lives.  Newly confirmed Sate Police Superintendent Steven G. James was also in attendance along with members of local law enforcement and members of the community.
