WOODBURY- The Hudson Valley holds much in the way of culture, history, and natural beauty.  Those with a green thumb are invited to join the Woodbury Historical Society on Sunday, May 19, 2024, at 2 p.m. with member and Woodbury Climate Smart Community Task Force coordinator Lisa Hintze, local apiarist Richard Sullivan, and Dr. Anne Wibiralske of Orange Environment where they will provide an informative program on the crucial relationship between regional plants and pollination in our native Hudson Valley.

“Even though we have a commitment to local history, a key facet of our mission also entails building new bonds with our community,” said Alex Prizgintas, president of the Woodbury Historical Society.  “This new style of program is one of our first steps in reaching out to the public with an event that can capture interests beyond the circles of history.  After all, our region’s nature deeply impacted the area’s past.”

This program will be at the Woodbury Community Center, 171 Coach Wilson Trail (Earl Reservoir), Highland Mills, NY.  Admission is free and open to the public, for any questions, please call 845-928-6770 or email woodbury1889@optonline.net.
