Four arrested in Kingston gang assault

KINGSTON – Three men and a woman have been arrested by Kingston City Police in connection with the stabbing of a 41-year-old man in the early morning hours of March 10 at Kingston Plaza.

The victim, who was stabbed several times, was rushed to HealthAlliance Hospital where he underwent emergency surgery. He has since been released from the hospital.

On Wednesday, April 10 at about 8 p.m., Kingston and Town of Ulster Police executed a search warrant at 84 Clinton Avenue following a two-month investigation.

They arrested Darryl Green, 35, Demetrius Dixon, 43, and Jalen Allen, 31, all of Kingston. Fantasia Allen, 32, also of Kingston was arrested the following morning.

All four suspects were charged with one count each of the felonies of gang assault, assault and criminal possession of a weapon.

Green was also charged with eight counts each of criminal possession and sale of a controlled substance.

Green, Dixon and Allen were arraigned and remanded to the Ulster County Jail without bail. Allen was remanded on $5,000 cash bail, $10,000 bond or $20,000 partial bond.

Police did not release a motive for the attack.
