NEWBURGH – City police responded to a report of a stabbing on Dubois Street in Newburgh Sunday night just before 9:20 p.m.
First arriving officers at 93 Dubois Street located two victims with what has been described as “life-threatening injuries.”
Police on the scene requested that EMS ambulances be expedited while other officers began to establish a crime scene.
The victims were found not far from Montefiore St. Luke’s Cornwall Hospital at 70 Dubois Street.
A medivac helicopter landed across the street on the roof of the hospital’s parking garage.
