Inmate dies at Orange County Jail

GOSHEN – A man in custody in the Orange County Jail in Goshen died of unknown causes on Sunday, officials said Monday.

An autopsy will be conducted to determine the cause of death, they said.

The sheriff’s administration and staff are working with the State Attorney General’s Office on the continuing investigation.

Authorities did not identify the man.
