FISHKILL – A man who allegedly violated an order of protection and was involved in a violent domestic incident on Town View Drive off Route 9D in the Town of Fishkill was arrested on Wednesday.
Town police responded to the address at 9 a.m., located the man whose name they did not make public, and attempted to apprehend him.
He violently resisted, fighting with officers and continued to resist while being transported to police headquarters.
The man was arraigned and remanded to the Dutchess County Jail in lieu of $25,000 bail.
