Middletown Police call on public to help solve cold case (VIDEO)

MIDDLETOWN- Police in the City of Middletown are seeking help from the public to solve a cold case homicide.

In March 2019, Sebastian Avilan-Medina was found shot to death in his Middletown home on Knapp Avenue.  Over the past five years, detectives have pursued hundreds of leads and now with the help of the public believe they can bring the persons responsible for this crime to justice.

Police have provided a photo and video of individuals they are have identified as prime suspects in their homicide investigation and are asking anyone who may recognize either individual to contact Detective Sergeant Rob Mecocci at rmecocci@middletownpolice.com or by phone at 845-343-3151.  All calls will be kept confidential.
