BEACON- The Animal Rescue Foundation (ARF) in Beacon will be hosting a penny social fundraiser on Saturday, April 6, 2024, to benefit the organization’s efforts. ARF is a 100 percent volunteer no-kill shelter and relies on donations to care for animals.
The event will be held at the Beacon VFW Memorial Building located at the corner of Teller and Main Streets in Beacon. Doors open at 1 p.m. and calling starts at 3 p.m. The kitchen will be open for baked goods and snacks.
Prizes include gift baskets and gift certificates from local businesses, toys, homewares, pet supplies, and more.
