MONTICELLO – A Monticello woman has been arrested on nine outstanding warrants from the Town of Thompson Court charging petit larceny.
The Sullivan County Sheriff’s Office says Priscilla Franklin, 41, was wanted for failing to appear on several shoplifting charges from Marshall’s, Shoprite and the Old Navy store in the Thompson Square Mall.
Franklin was previously arrested by Monticello Police in January for felony burglary.
Deputy Samantha Cohn, who was on a special warrant detail in an unmarked vehicle, spotted Franklin near Fulton Street in Monticello on Tuesday and took her into custody.
She was arraigned and sent to the Sullivan County Jail in lieu of $1,000 bail pending a future court appearance.
