SPARROWBUSH – State Police Troop F BCI is investigating the death of a two-month-old child that occurred at a residence on Fawn Hill in Sparrowbush.
At around 4:45 a.m. on January 19, troopers responded to an Orange County 911 call for an unresponsible child at a residence.
Emergency services personnel attempted life-saving measures which were unsuccessful.
The child was transported to Bon Secours Community Hospital in Port Jervis where the baby was pronounced dead.
State Police investigation determined that no criminality was involved in the death of the infant.
