TOWN OF LLOYD – A Plattekill man with 27 prior arrests and is on parole for armed robbery, was arrested on Friday, February 23 for allegedly robbing the Mobile gas station on Grand Street in Highland of $2,800 on February 21.
Town of Lloyd Police arrested Michael Brooks, 62, on February 23 and charged him with robbery, grand larceny and criminal possession of stolen property.
He was arraigned and remanded to the Ulster County Jail without bail pending a future court appearance.
Lloyd Police were assisted in the investigation by Town of Newburgh Police, the Ulster County Sheriff’s Office and State Police.
