Police: I-84 fatality was Connecticut man

TOWN OF NEWBURGH – State Police have identified the victim of a fatal vehicle crash on Interstate 84 in the Town of Newburgh shortly before 11 a.m. on Tuesday, February 21 as a Connecticut man.

Police said the car was traveling eastbound near exit 39 when it struck a center guardrail and flipped over killing Charles Drury, 77, of Bristol.

Another person was reported to have been in the vehicle and that person’s condition was not known.
