MID-HUDSON – This morning’s snowfall is making for slippery conditions across the Mid-Hudson.  In Southern Dutchess County, approximately four inches of snow had fallen by 5:00 a.m. Tuesday and the roads were snow-covered.
Unplowed roads including State Routes 9 and 9D were causing vehicles to become disabled.  Motorists continuing north of the Poughkeepsie Galleria will find roads with little to no accumulation, all the way into the City of Poughkeepsie where the roads are wet but snow-free.
Police are reporting several accidents as vehicles slide off roads.
No serious injuries have been reported.
Authorities urge motorists to slow down and take extra precautions when driving.
