ARDSLEY – A Spring Valley man has been charged with felony driving while intoxicated after he was stopped while driving on the Thruway in Ardsley early Saturday morning, February 10.
State Police stopped the vehicle driven by Franklin Agualsaca Caiza, 28, for several vehicle and traffic violations and found him to be intoxicated while driving with two children in the car, ages one and four. They were turned over to a relative.
Caiza’s blood alcohol content was 0.10 percent resulting in the DWI charge because children were with him.
He was also charged with two counts of endangering the welfare of a child.
He was turned over to a third party and issued appearance tickets returnable to Ardsley Village Court.
