TOWN OF WALLKILL – The Town of Wallkill Emergency Medical Services has added two new ambulances to its fleet, totaling five ambulances and two fly cars.

The service is fully staffed by career medics and EMTs.

Executive Director Alexandria Willshire said the new vehicles are paid for through medical billing and financing.

“When we purchased it, it was just over $200,000. If we wanted to get a new one today, it is just above $350,000,” she said.

And that does not include equipment.

In 2023, Town of Wallkill Emergency Medical Services responded to over 5,900 calls for service.
