Wanted man arrested after accident investigation

LAGRANGE – The Dutchess County Sheriff’s Office has arrested a 25-year-old New York City man on a number of charged stemming from an investigation into an auto accident on Friday, February 9.

At 6:25 that morning, sheriff’s deputies responded to Route 55 near the McDonald’s restaurant in LaGrange for a report of a crash.

Officers identified Julian Muhlemann, 25, as being involved and allegedly found in possession of various types of pills.

They attempted to place him under arrest, at which time he physically resisted but was eventually taken into custody.

He was charged with misdemeanor drug possession, resisting arrest and obstructing governmental administration.

He was released on appearance tickets but turned over to State Police on a warrant.
