HOPEWELL JUNCTION – A report of a man with a knife who attacked another in the East Fishkill Amazon warehouse on Thursday at 7:00 pm drew a large response from police agencies, led by the East Fishkill police department.   The assailant and the male victim are both Amazon employees.  A police investigation resulted in three subjects being charged with felony assault.

The assailant, according to police, is Jelani Senior, age 20, was charged with felony assault and misdemeanor criminal possession of a weapon.  Two female subjects, 22-year-old Arissa Anderson and Kemiesha May, 21, were charged with felony assault for their role in the attack.

According to police, Senior ran into the warehouse and cut the victim in the hand.  After the attack, the suspect ran outside and got into the rear of a grey sedan with Massachusetts license plates, witnesses told police.  The police were also informed that the getaway vehicle was driven by a female and a second female was in the passenger seat.  During the investigation, East Fishkill detectives determined that the victim was targeted by the assailant as a result of a previous incident.  Police searched the parking lot of the warehouse and located Senior and his two female accomplices, and took them into custody.

All three were arraigned by East Fishkill Justice Brian Rudner.  Senior was remanded to the Dutchess County Jail with bail set at $10,000 cash, $20,000 bond, or $100,000 partially secured bond.

The two females have no prior criminal history and they were released on their own recognizance following their arraignments.

East Fishkill Police Chief Derrick Cuccia declined to provide specifics of the case to protect the victim and the integrity of the prosecution.
