Ulster BOCES seeks community volunteer to serve on audit committee

PORT EWEN- The Ulster BOCES Board of Education is seeking a community member with business and finance experience to serve on its audit committee, which discusses and provides oversight to the Ulster BOCES financial reporting.  The selected individual will work in collaboration with board members, the assistant superintendent of administration, and Ulster BOCES business office staff. 

Individuals are invited to send a letter of interest no later than February 21, 2024, to Roxanne Babcock, district clerk, at rbabcock@ulsterboces.org.  The letter should include a statement of interest and a brief description of your experience related to business and/or finance.  Committee members must be willing to serve until June 30, 2024 and be available for meetings on February 28, April 24, and June 26 which are held on Wednesdays at 4 p.m.  Full-year terms will run from July 1 through June 30 and consist of approximately six meetings annually.
