EAST FISHKILL – Police in East Fishkill are looking for a former Amazon employee who entered the East Fishkill Amazon warehouse just after 7 p.m. on Thursday and cut a worker on the hand before fleeing. The weapon the man used was described as a “switchblade.”
East Fishkill Police and other law enforcement agencies responded to the Route 52 warehouse four minutes later to begin a search for the suspect.
A witness described the assailant as a light-skinned black man who is a former employee at the facility.
Anyone who may have information regarding the incident is asked to call 911. Civilians are advised not to approach the individual.
