ALBANY – The December 2023 regional unemployment rate in the greater Hudson Valley region was 4.5 percent and only one county exceeded that, the state labor department said.
Delaware County registered 4.7 percent unemployment.
The lowest rate in the region was in Columbia County at 3.2 percent. That was followed by Putnam County with 3.4 percent joblessness.
The December rates in every county were higher than those for the same month in 2022.
