MONTICELLO – Armed with a search warrant, the Sullivan County Sheriff raided an address in the Village of Monticello early Thursday morning.
The drug raid was announced by Undersheriff Eric Chaboty at a meeting of the legislature’s Public Safety and Law Enforcement Committee.
“We executed a search warrant at 11 ½ Lincoln Place in the Village of Monticello. There were a lot of complaints from residents in that neighborhood and we have six people under arrest currently and it looks like we arrested a major dealer who has federal parole warrants and other people who have warrants,” he said.
Chaboty said this was the latest illegal drug-related enforcement effort in Sullivan County.
