KINGSTON – A Kerhonkson man has been arrested by Ulster County Sheriff’s deputies fore illegal possession of a handgun.
Deputies said Antonio Medina, 24, was arrested following a motor vehicle accident overnight on December 27, 2023.
Investigation alleges that he was driving while intoxicated and was found in possession of a handgun without a permit. That gun has been reported stolen to the Kingston City Police Department.
He was charged with the felonies of criminal possession of a weapon and criminal possession of stolen property, both as felonies, and a misdemeanor for driving while intoxicated.
Medina was remanded to the Ulster County Jail in lieu of $10,000 bail pending a future court appearance.
