PLEASANT VALLEY – A traffic stop on the Taconic State Parkway in the Town of Pleasant Valley resulted in the arrest of the driver for driving while intoxicated and for possessing over 36 pounds of cannabis.
State Police arrested Eric Huang, 33, of Brooklyn, on December 23 for driving while intoxicated and criminal possession of cannabis as a felony.
Troopers had conducted the traffic stop of a 2008 Acura MDX on the parkway with investigation determining that Huang was driving while impaired and he was subsequently arrested.
Further investigation determined he was in illegal possession cannabis.
Huang was issued an appearance ticket returnable to town court.
