Fire damages Liberty restaurant (VIDEO)

LIBERTY – Fire Sunday afternoon damaged a restaurant at 77 North Main Street in Liberty.

Liberty Fire Chief Mark Johnston said while the fire spread in Casita Mexican Restaurant, the building was saved.

“The fire started in the kitchen and it got into the wall and it started to extend up the side of the building,” he said.

Quick work by firefighters prevented the fire from spreading any further.
