Suspect in two Croton home burglaries arrested

CROTON-ON-HUDSON – Officers of the Croton-on-Hudson Police Department have made an arrest in relation to two home burglaries which have taken place in the village in recent weeks. These burglaries took place on Wells Avenue and Piney Point Avenue.

 The suspect, a 36-year-old Bronx man, was charged Tuesday evening with two counts each of burglary and one count each of criminal mischief of petit larceny. Police did not release his name.

 The Croton-on-Hudson Police Department was assisted in the investigation and search Tuesday evening by the Peekskill Police Department K9 Unit, Westchester County Police Department, MTA Police Department and Westchester County Police Aviation Unit.
