MONTICELLO – A 54-year-old Monticello man has been remanded to the Sullivan County Jail in lieu of $25,000 on charges of armed robbery and menacing.
Frank Velez-Miranda was arrested following a violent domestic incident that occurred in the Town of Thompson on Saturday, December 2.
It is alleged that he robbed his victim of cash and a cellphone at knifepoint.
He was located some time later on Anawana Lake Road and taken into custody by Sullivan County sheriff’s deputies without incident.
