KINGSTON – An investigation that began in November 2022 in Ulster County, ended for a second time on November 29, 2023 with the arrest of a Yonkers man who has been charged with criminal sale and possession of drugs.

Kingston City and Town of Ulster Police began an investigation into cocaine and crack cocaine sales in Ulster County.

After a two-month investigation that concluded in January 2023, police arrested Kenneth Ivey of Yonkers, charging him in connection with the drug charges.

He was arraigned in Kingston City Court and released.

On Wednesday, November 29, he was arrested again on similar charges.

In October, police began to investigate Ivey’s return to Ulster County.

Following his recent arrest in a residence in the City of Kingston, police found “a substantial amount” of cocaine, fentanyl and heroin.

He was indicted by a county grand jury on narcotics charges on Thursday, November 30.
