STEWART AIRPORT – Breeze Airways will begin its twice weekly flights between New York Stewart International Airport and Orlando  and Charleston, South Carolina and advanced bookings are doing well, Stewart Business Development Director Yil Surehan told the Stewart Airport Commission on Tuesday.

Surehan said the airline has given the airport positive feedback on the flights.

“They have assured us that if bookings improved they plan to increase frequencies to those markets as well as add frequency to other markets,” he said.

Surehan also announced Allegiant Airways will expand their Myrtle Beach service to five times per week.

Play Airways, which flies to Iceland with connections to mainland Europe, said their flights are performing well at Stewart.
